In a galaxy not so far away... there was a pastor who had a crazy interest in Star Wars. In particular, making lighsaber props. I know that might sound strange, but he found many parallels in Star Wars to Christianity. He always found the "lightsaber" fascinating. To that end, he made a few of his own replicas over the years and wanted to share them with you.

I consider what I do to be no different than art for me. To me it is a form of sculpting. My sabers aren't perfect, but are good representations and can be used as stunt or prop sabers. I work with solid aluminum and brass rods as well as a synthetic material made of a polyester vinyl semi acrylic with aluminatrihydrate, that has a matted aluminum greyish color, it contains an organic peroxide catalyst. It is NOT like traditional resins that are used to make molds. As far as I know, I am the only one that uses this material in this way to make sabers. I do NOT make molds of MR lightsabers!

If you would like to try your hand at making your own saber and want to order a hard surface rod to turn on a lathe just let me know.
